22 Birthday List Scrapbook: Title Page

Hey, guys! I'm so excited to finally be posting about crafts. And I'm even more excited that I'm finally getting back into scrapbooking. For the past several months, I've been working on my 22 birthday list. (If you don't know what it is, it's a list of 22 things to do before I turn 23. Check it out here.) It's been fun to work on completing my goals, but I wanted to document this project. So, here is the first page! I wanted to make a fun title page that would reflect some of my favorite things this year and set the theme for the album.

This album is 6×8. It's my first time using this size and I love it! For this page, I used a full 6×8 page.

I cut a strip of vellum and printed on it with my mom's old typewriter. Using vellum can be tricky, because it's hard to tell which side is the right side. Look carefully for the side that looks waxy and use the other side. You can test it first, but one side usually holds ink better.

I used my sewing machine and stitched along the top and the bottom. It adds texture and holds the vellum without tape or glue marks. Next, I added the letters. Thickers are my favorite.

Now, for the fun part! I dropped sequins on the page and stapled them down, if I liked where they landed. I fell in love with my tiny attacher doing this page. I'm so happy to be scrapbooking again! I'll keep sharing new pages as I complete my goals!
