In my album, there are some week I love and some that I like are just okay. This is one of the just okay weeks. Since I was sick during week 6, I didn't take many pictures and I didn't really do anything worth taking photos of, which made it hard to come up with a layout design. But I made the best with what I had.
Like I said, since I didn't have a lot of photos. I needed to come up with a lot of space for journaling. I loved the striped card from A Beautiful Mess Messybox, but it's the back of a card from the next week. I didn't want to add staples, because you would see it on the next week side. I found this washi tape from a previous Messybox and it was perfect! I tied all the colors from the week and held down the vellum that I typed my journaling on.
Not every week is going to be perfect, so I was okay focusing on that fact that I was sick for most of the week. I found a transparency from an old Studio Calico kit and thought it worked perfectly over my picture of tea. Then, I added some small letters to show why it wasn't my day. This is one of my favorite elements from week 6!
Another fun idea to document what you've done that week is to take screenshots of games you played, music you listened to, or podcasts you played. Since I didn't have many pictures, I decided to use a screenshot of an iPhone game I couldn't stop playing. It will be fun to look at what was popular a few years from now.
I'm glad I'm finally getting caught up on my album! I'll be posting more weeks very soon! Thanks for reading! -Laura
