I've been wanting to make a Halloween wreath for the past two years. I thought I knew what I wanted, but had a really hard time finding the supplies I needed to make it. I saw some black roses at the craft store and knew I wanted to incorporate them into the wreath. So I changed my planned! With a coupon and the sales on the Halloween stuff, this project ended up being pretty cheap. In total, it was only $? to make! And it was easy. Here's what you need to make it:

Supplies:
1 grapevine wreath (only $3 with a coupon at Hobby Lobby!)
1 can black spray paint
black glitter
black ribbon
plastic spiders
several black roses
and a hot glue gun

I started by spray painting the wreath black. Be sure to do several light layers to get in all the cracks of the wreath. Once the wreath was coated in black, I sprayed another light layer to the top and sprinkled the black glitter over it. I wasn't sure if the paint would hold the glitter, but it did!

After it was all dry, I hot glued the roses where I wanted them. I left them on the stem and used wire cutters to cut about an inch below to flower. It made it a little easier to stick in between the vines, but if you don't have wire cutters, just glue the flower to the vines. Once the black roses were dry, I added a couple black spiders around the wreath. They are a little hard to see, but I thought they were cute. Lastly, it's time to add the bow. I followed this tutorial and then glued it to the top of the wreath.

Then you're done! Just hang on a wreath hook and enjoy! I wish I had picked a more symmetrical wreath, but I still love it! If you make one, send me a picture so I can see! xo. Laura
