Welcome to Laurel & Fern!!

I'm so excited to finally announce that I'm re-branding my blog as Laurel and Fern. It seems like this is a project that I've been working on for a very long time (took forever to come up with a name), so I'm happy to be releasing it into the world. Unfortunately, I've let planning this re-branding hold me back from really working on my old site, but I'm going to hit the ground running to turn Laurel and Fern into the site I've been dreaming about.

You might be thinking, "What is Laurel and Fern?" The name comes from two of my great grandmas, Laura Francis (the name Laura comes from the laurel tree and my name comes from her name!) and Nina Fern. I did not have the pleasure of knowing these ladies, but their stories have inspired me in my personal life and have made me want to create and share with others.

This new site will still cover the same topics (recipes, diy projects, home life, and more), but there will definitely be a lot more content! I have so many exciting things plan and I can't wait to get started.
