Hi! I’m excited to share a few homemade room spray recipes with you. I’m working with Got Oils Supplies again to show you these awesome spray bottles. They are great quality spray bottles with a fine mist at a great price. These bottles are 4 oz., so it’s easy to make a few to have different scents whenever you want.
I made three different blends for my different moods. Here are the three different room sprays I made:
Awake Room Spray:
3. oz filtered water
1 oz. witch hazel
20 drops grapefruit essential oil
10 drops peppermint essential oil
Grapefruit and peppermint are so invigorating! They are both scents that help wake you up and feel energized. This is a great blend to spray in the morning when you’re trying to wake up or if you need a boost in the afternoon.
Fresh Room Spray:
3. oz filtered water
1 oz. witch hazel
20 drops of lemon essential oil
10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil (I used eucalyptus globulus from YL)
This is a great blend to add a fresh, clean smell to your house! Lemon is a great way to mask smelly odors in your home and the eucalyptus adds a nice uplifting scent.
Calm Room Spray:
3. oz filter water
1 oz. witch hazel
15 drops of lavender essential oil
15 drops of sweet orange essential oil
Lavender and sweet orange are such a fun combination. The lavender is great for relaxing and calming down and together they make a really cozy, fresh scent. This is a great blend if you want to relax after a busy day or want to hang out on the weekend.
It’s so easy to adjust these drops depending on what your favorite oils are. I made my blends a little strong, so I just have to use two or three sprays to add the scents to the room. All of these oils are great basic ones to start with if you are new to essential oils. To finish up the bottles, I just added alphabet stickers and gave my scents simple names!
These are a great alternative to chemical air fresheners. Plus, it’s really fun to customize your own scents for different times of the year or different moods. Got Oils Supplies is giving 10% off your purchase! Click here to check out these great spray bottles and to save 10%.
