Hi scrapbookers! I'm playing catch-up here on the blog with some of my scrapbooking layouts. These are layouts I made with the Elle's Studio March Kit. Unfortunately, that kit is already sold out, but there are still some of the add-ons available! You can also click here to join the Elle's Studio monthly subscription to make sure you never miss a kit!
The March Kit was full of spring time colors and patterns. I knew I wanted to make a layout to document all my time out in the yard pulling weeds and trying to get seeds to grow.My first layout is all about the seeds I got from the local library. They started a seed library and I think it's so fun to go in a find new seeds. I started by cutting down a patterned 12×12 paper to 9×12 and printed two 4×3 pictures of my seeds and garden. I used some embellishments from the kit and a "grow" wood veneer to create the title. The wood veneers are so fun to work with. I just used my tiny attacher to staple it to the embellishment and then stapled that to the paper.
The March Kit came with the cute 1-10 list card. It was perfect for add the names of my seeds. I used an alphabet stamp to stamp the names of my tiny plants. This layout is pretty simple, but I just love it!I keep the other layout pretty neutral, so I wanted to add color to this layout. I made this layout to document my progress in the yard pulling weeds. Prepping the garden bed has been so much work, but documenting it has been fun! To create the title card, I used the File Under stamp set to make the green flowers. Then I attached embellishments from the kit and the Dated stamp set to add the details. I finished the pocket off by adding the blue green mix of sequins. I love adding sequins and confetti to pocket pages! To fill out the rest of the pocket pages, I printed out photos and used journaling cards from the kit. I used my typewriter to add my text to some of the cards. The kit came with some embellishments I used, but I also used the sky blue puffy alphabet stickers, today sticker labels, and light gray alphabet stickers.I love that the kits and add-ons from Elle's Studio match so well! You just need a few products and you can make some really great layouts!
Are you catching up on layouts too? What have you been working on lately? xo. Laura
