Hi! I wanted say wish Grant happy birthday one more time and tell you all about the amazing day we had.
We started the day slow by sleeping in. He got to rest while I worked on baking him my grandmas banana cake recipe. I was excited to make it for him, because he's never had this cake. After that, we went to lunch at one of our favorite local places, 32 Shea. They have great sandwiches and the most amazing chai!
After we finished lunch, we went to the new Odysea aquarium. It was our first time visiting and it was really nice. The aquarium was close to Talking Stick Casino, so we took a spontaneous trip to the casino for a drink! It was so different and fun. Grant even won $10!
For dinner, we wanted to try something new. We ended up going to a place Okra and it was so amazing. The cocktails were delicious and the food was so incredible. It's definitely one of our new favorite places. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes.
We went back home and he blew out the candles and opened his present. We were way too full for cake, but had some for breakfast the next day. We had such an amazing day. It was so nice to spend the whole day together, just him and I. It will definitely be a day to remember.
