One Little Word 2016

One Little Word 2016 (via www.laurelandfern.com)
Since I heard about Ali Edward's One Little Word project, I've wanted to participate. For the last couple of years, I've picked a word, but didn't really work on it throughout the year. This year, it's going to be different. I've picked a word that I really like. I liked this word, then heard a saying that went with it. I knew that this was going to be my word for the year.

Are you ready?

It's PRACTICE.

Practice and all is coming. Don't you just love that?! I've been making 2016 a year of personal growth. By this I mean, I want to work on cultivating my creativity, becoming a more confident, happy person, and improve my health. To do this, I need to practice better habits. Practice patience. Work on and practice my creative skills. There are so many ways to interrupt this word. Practice applies to so many this I want to accomplish this year. It fit with my life perfectly.

I've been working on remembering to practice so far in January. It's helping me get past the point of waiting until things are perfect to working on it and getting it done, like my scrapbook. I'm excited to see where "practice" will take me this year! Do you have one little word? If so, what is it? -Laura
